This Privacy Policy explains how App For India ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you use the mobile game Snakes and Ladders: Board Game (the "App"), available on Google Play. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
a) If you sign in with Google
When you choose "Sign in with Google", Google shares the following basic profile information with us through Firebase Authentication:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your profile picture
- A unique user ID
We do not receive or have access to your Google password.
b) If you play as a guest (anonymous login)
We create an anonymous user ID through Firebase Authentication so your progress can be saved. No name or email is collected.
c) Game data
We store game-related information such as your player name, game progress, coins, scores, settings and, where applicable, online match data. This is stored in Google Firebase Cloud Firestore and Firebase Realtime Database.
d) Information collected by advertising (Google AdMob)
The App shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may automatically collect:
- Your device's Advertising ID
- Device information (model, operating system, language, screen size)
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Ad interaction data (ads viewed and clicked)
This information is used to show ads, measure ad performance and, where you have allowed it, show personalised ads.
e) Technical data
Firebase services may collect technical identifiers (such as Firebase installation IDs) and diagnostic information needed for the services to work.
2. How we use information
- To let you sign in and save and restore your game progress
- To enable gameplay features, including online play where available
- To show ads that keep the App free
- To maintain, secure and improve the App
- To respond to your support requests
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Third-party services
The App uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:
- Google Play Services
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Realtime Database)
- Google AdMob
4. Ads and your choices
Where required by law (for example, in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland), we ask for your consent before showing personalised ads. You can also:
- Reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads)

5. Data retention
We keep your account and game data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your data, we delete it from our Firebase databases within 30 days, except where we must keep it to meet legal obligations.
6. Account and data deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated game data at any time by emailing imagineindias@outlook.com with the subject "Delete my account". Please include the email address you sign in with (for Google accounts) or your player name (for guest accounts). Uninstalling the App does not automatically delete data stored on our servers.
7. Data security
Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers, which use encryption in transit and industry-standard security measures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
8. Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
